It can be as simple as pledging your birthday or as extravagant as organising a yoga session or a show. Everyday, people just like you are thinking of ways to help farmers stand on their own two feet.
What will you do?
IT’S REALLY EASY THIS YEAR
TO MAKE A CHANGE
1. Start a campaign
Big or small, it’s up to you to dream up your campaign – it could be dinner for 4 or a party for 400! Design your campaign, choose one of our projects that gets you inspired, and be creative in sharing with your supporters just why the cause matters to you. Be bold!
2. Submit your campaign
We just want to make sure that you have all the information you need to make your campaign as great as it can be! Once you have designed your campaign, submit it through to us. We’ll have a quick look at it and be back in touch before you know it and then you will be ready to go!
3. Start fundraising
We will send you a URL that you can share with the world! Post details of your campaign on your social media pages and let everyone know about it. As your campaign continues, be sure to keep your page updated and respond to any comments so your supporters know all about how your fundraising is going!
Once you have finished fundraising, we combine the money that you have collected with the money raised by other individuals and groups who have selected the same project as you. With your funds and our team we bring the project to life!
5. The project begins
The work to give the poorest a living income is not straightforward, but we used local leaders, evidence based approaches and a human centered design process to ensure that we creating lasting change.
6. We share the results with you
We monitor all of our projects closely, using both online tools and frequent field visits. Once the project is complete, we will send you a project update so you can see the impact you made and share it with everyone that supported your campaign.
You can do anything to raise money.
Need some inspiration? These are a few of our campaigns that we will never forget.
Thank you to all our donors, we have met our fundraising goal!
IT’S THE COMPETITION YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!
Get ready to see blood, sweat and tears as our teams go head to head in the UNSW Anjali Tamil Society’s annual Oztag Competition!
This year we are proud to be supporting Palmera’s Landing a Better Future project. This project brings together 250 farmers and their families and supports them to improve their farming skills and access critical services, while creating networks of knowledge and experience. This costs as little as $475 per family; only $95 a year over the five years that we will be providing support.
