City2Surf 2014

Thank you to all our donors, we have met our fundraising goal.

Was improving your fitness a new year’s resolution? Have you ever thought about running a marathon? Are you passionate about sustainable development and ending poverty?

Well this is your chance to run for a cause!

Jeeven and friends got together for the first time to form the Palmera City2Surf team. Join them to raise funds for transformative projects to improve the livelihoods and wellbeing of communities in rural Sri Lanka.

The 14km run is held annually on the second Sunday in August beginning at Hyde Park in the CBD and finishing at Bondi Beach. Aside from a handful of athletes, over 80,000 ordinary Australians will take part too – many running for the very first time. Along the track you’ll hear music, see performers, be offered drinks to keep you hydrated and enjoy the beautiful views of Sydney’s harbour.
