The Silly walkers will be helping bring together 300 villagers and their families, to train them in producing groundnuts. By providing training, developing a collective and introducing new technology to these producers, they will be able to negotiate with buyers and start to make a steady income.
Soma’s anniversary will be supporting the Connecting to Markets project. We chose Palmera to give the funds to as we are very passionate about what Palmera does and we want Soma’s life and passing to have a great impact on those that need our help. This particular project will be working with 105 small scale farmers to build a thriving farming businesses and compete in the market place.
