That’s why we have partnered with the incredible organization, Palmera, which has shown remarkable results in 2022. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of families facing poverty and disadvantage. Allow us to share some of Palmera’s accomplishments this past year that have truly touched our hearts:
- In the villages they operate, 98% of families reported being food secure, ensuring that basic nutritional needs are met
- Remarkably, women in the poorest district managed to save over a hundred thousand dollars, a testament to their increased financial resilience and empowerment
- Through their dedicated efforts, Palmera has trained and empowered 1,600 farmers in income-generating activities, promoting economic stability and growth
- Palmera has also worked diligently to prevent gender violence, providing safety and support to 1,100 vulnerable families
- Recognizing Palmera’s outstanding impact, they have received ACFID accreditation as one of the top five small agencies in Australia. This accreditation opens doors to increased funding and resources, enabling them to reach even more families in need
