Punal

NatiyaNivetha is an organisation which was founded with the goal of using a passion for Bharatanatyam to give back to the community.

This year we are delighted to introduce “Punal (Water) – The Soul of Mother Earth”. Punal is an exploration of the impact of our actions – and inaction – on the global water crisis through the theatrical Indian dance form of Bharatha Natyam. The production depicts how the rigors of modern life have led to a worldwide water shortage and is a call to arms for current and future generations to work together to address the problems we face.

NatiyaNivetha is proud to present Punal in support of Palmera. Palmera is an Australian based, tax deductible, Australian Government Accredited agency. We work to support the most vulnerable and marginalised in Sri Lanka so no one is left out.
