At 75, Perinbawathi takes small jobs to pay for food and medicine, but the work is irregular and never quite enough. She walks through fields and jungle to reach her clinic twice a month, managing knee pain alongside recovery from kidney surgery. She hopes to live without hardship and sorrow.
