We co-created our entrepreneurship models by blending global best practice with local insight and on-the-ground learning — and have replicated them across over 200 villages
To earn a living income, communities face different challenges — which is why we use a range of models tailored to their needs
Over time, we’ve come to understand that not all families begin at the same starting point. Some are held back by structural barriers so basic — unsafe housing, lack of toilets, no access to water, or insecure land tenure. For these families, no matter how strong their will or how comprehensive our economic support, progress remains out of reach until these foundational needs are addressed. So where needed, we will provide foundational support.
LAST MILE AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT
For communities with access to large, profitable local markets but ineffectively engaging: an approach to transform the barriers to meaningful participation
WOMEN ECONOMIC COLLECTIVES
For women with limited economic participation: an approach to build savings, access loans from pooled savings, grow income targeted support for diversified small businesses and strengthen confidence.
GRADUATING THE POOR
For those struggling to eat: a holistic 24-month “Big Push” approach to move families from survival to stability or targeted support for the poorest to ensure their basic rights

Provides families with essential food, shelter and care to stabilise their lives before building anything further.

Gives people the tools and training to earn steady income through small businesses, farming or local trade

Foundational Support
Foundational Support is about removing the deep, structural barriers that keep families stuck—no matter how hard they work. These aren’t one-off acts of charity. They’re smart, targeted investments that create the conditions for real, lasting change.
Because here’s the truth: some families do earn a living income—but without a safe home, a toilet, clean water, or secure land, that income can’t lift them. It gets swallowed up by crisis after crisis. It keeps them surviving, not thriving.
