Palmera is a not-for-profit organisation that focuses mainly on helping people in Sri Lanka who have been disenfranchised and displaced due to the civil war that stretched over two decades. We love Palmera’s approach of providing resources and training to farmers and rural entrepreneurs which in turn enables them to be self-sufficient and financially independent.
Your donations will support Palmera’s Graduating the Poor project, which identifies the poorest of the poor people in Sri Lanka’s North and addresses their immediate needs while also providing long term training to ‘graduate’ those individuals out of poverty.
